The Motability Scheme is open to customers in receipt of the below mobility allowances. In order to qualify, you must also have at least 12 months’ award length remaining.

Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)

Armed Forces Independence Payment

Unfortunately, the Attendance Allowance cannot be used to lease a car through the Scheme.

If you do not drive, you can nominate up to two people to drive on your behalf. These can be family members, friends or carers – as long as no more than one driver is under the age of 21. There are also restrictions for nominees under the age of 25. If required, a third driver can be added for a small additional cost.
