Location: Audi Approved Epsom

Hours: Working 5 days per week to include (2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in a rolling 3 week rota).

About the Role: Epsom Audi is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the dealership, responsible for managing and developing all aspects of the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department. You will be at the heart of all sales enquiries, working closely with the sales team to maximise revenue and enhance the customer experience. As a Business Manager, you will ensure that every customer fully understands their finance agreements and obligations, always acting with integrity and in line with FCA regulations. Your leadership and expertise will help drive performance and improve finance penetration across the business. This role requires flexibility, including working weekends, to meet the needs of our customers and maintain high service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the Finance & Insurance department, ensuring all finance and insurance products are effectively promoted.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support deal structuring and optimise profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all FCA regulations, delivering fair and transparent customer interactions.
  • Monitor and improve finance penetration rates, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Provide coaching and development to the sales team, ensuring they fully understand and effectively present finance and insurance options.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, building long-term relationships and generating repeat business.
  • Work collaboratively with senior management to implement sales strategies and achieve dealership targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and company policies.
  • Uphold housekeeping and professional standards within the dealership.

  • Proven experience in a Business Manager, Sales Controller, or similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products, with a thorough understanding of FCA compliance and regulations.
  • Ability to drive and motivate a team, leading by example to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A professional and customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
