Technician

Walton Audi require Technicians to diagnose, repair and service all models of the Audi range. All technical staff work together to ensure all vehicles are serviced with maximum efficiency and to the very highest standards. You’ll receive comprehensive technical tuition from both our national training centre and in house. You’ll learn about our information systems, best practice, diagnostics and all the latest technologies.

Our technicians work within a team and are equipped with the latest technology in a modern workshop. As a qualified vehicle technician, you will be at the very heart of our customer experience keeping them on the road so they can go safely from A to B and taking pride in a job well done. 

Job Role

To provide the highest levels of customer-focused service right through the process.

Working on new and evolving technologies this is the type of role where you will be constantly learning and expanding your knowledge and skill set.

• Ensuring that all repair work is completed to the highest standard and within factory timescales

• Liaising with other departments to facilitate the timely and accurate servicing and repair of Vehicles

• Evaluating the condition of every vehicle worked on and where necessary reporting and documenting all additional work required on both systems and job cards

• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Company, Brand and industry guidelines.

• An organised and methodical approach to problem-solving

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard.
• The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment.
• The capability of working to the highest quality standards.
• Great team player and communication skills.
• Prior experience of working to efficiency targets.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience within a main automotive dealer preferable but not essential.
• VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential .
