Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose complex vehicle faults and effectively resolve issues, ensuring all work meets Audi’s high standards.
  • Perform advanced repairs and technical maintenance on a variety of Audi models, handling everything from routine servicing to complex repairs.
  • Provide support and mentorship to other technicians, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across the team.
  • Ensure accurate completion of job cards, warranty documentation, and technical reports, adhering to brand and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors to ensure customer needs are met promptly and thoroughly.
  • Safeguard customer vehicles and maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with health and safety policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with Audi’s technical advancements and procedures.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Qualifications: IMI Level 4 or equivalent; NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Senior Technician or Master Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership or large independent setting.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced diagnostic abilities with a keen aptitude for resolving complex issues.
  • Communication Skills: Able to clearly communicate with team members and Service Advisors, providing updates and technical guidance as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: Committed to maintaining an organized and clean workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexible approach to work, with a full understanding of customer satisfaction and dedication to achieving the highest service standards.
  • Driver’s License: Full, clean UK driving license is required
