Big boot A 549-litre boot is pretty impressive for a coupé-style automobile. Indeed, it’s bigger than the one possessed by the ID.4 – and rivals such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Kia EV6. Of course, there’s even more cargo volume available when rear seats are dropped – 1,561 litres, in fact.
Comfortable cabin A three-zone Air Care Climatronic system, microfleece-upholstered seats and heated front positions (complete with armrests) are just some examples of how comfortable the ID.5 is.
Infotainment highlights A 12-inch touchscreen display, Discover Max Navigation and a 140-watt six-speaker sound system all feature as standard. Included are DAB radio, four USB-C ports, Euro NCAP-endorsed Car2X technology, natural voice control and Apple/Android connectivity.
Electric power An all-electric powertrain makes the ID.5 a leaner, greener SUV alternative, one that offers a range of up to 313 miles as standard. It also allows the GTX Style trim to go from 0-62mph in 6.3 seconds. Whichever version you choose, it’ll produce zero CO2 and NOx emissions and it’ll be very affordable to run.
Exterior Despite an elegantly sporty body style, the car nonetheless offers straightforward passenger access thanks in part to an elevated ride height. Meanwhile, the driver can easily gain access thanks to keyless entry.
