Vehicle variants

Although trim level details have yet to be officially announced, it’s anticipated that there will be as many as seven, which means plenty of options for a wide range of motorists.

Interior The interior of the Volkswagen ID.7 is a harmonious blend of cutting-edge technology and luxurious comfort, featuring spacious seating, premium materials, and an intuitive infotainment system that elevates the driving experience to new heights of sophistication.
New-generation infotainment A new 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system will be a considerable upgrade on existing set-ups, certainly in terms of useability. For instance, the volume bar is now backlit, which means it stands out more clearly. Moreover, the new system allows for faster operation of its range of features, and it’s customisable too.
Quiet and comfortable As we’ve come to expect from pure-electric vehicles, the ID.7 is near-silent in motion. Even in Sport mode, you and your co-passengers will enjoy a hushed cabin ambience and a comfortable, refined ride.
Range Pro models are equipped with a 210kW motor, the most powerful VW electric motor yet. It’s provided energy by a 77kWh battery, enabling a range of approximately 382 miles. Pro S variants, due for release a little later, feature Volkswagen’s largest (68kWh) battery, which should comfortably enable a 434-mile range.
Charging The ID.7 will be the first ID vehicle to feature battery preconditioning. This will enable you to set a temperature and charge level that facilitates optimal charging conditions. This means that the car will be fully ready for 200kW-rate charging when it’s time for a top-up.
Exterior As befits the latest 100% electric Volkswagen car, the ID.7 boasts sophisticated style, with, for example, a coupé-like silhouette born of a swooping roofline. Nevertheless, it’s a practical vehicle that offers four-door access.
Unfussy fascia Baseline ID.5 77kWh Pro Style trims are equipped with attractive 19-inch Jet Black, diamond-turned alloy wheels as standard. Not only do they look good, their lightweight design contributes towards greater efficiency and performance.
Matrix LED lights Fitted as standard, Matrix LED headlights incorporate Adaptive Driving Beam technology that automatically optimises illumination while ensuring that oncoming drivers remain un-dazzled. They also provide ample light in poor weather conditions, and much-needed entry/exit illumination.
Power tailgate If you choose the 77kWh Pro Tech trim, you’ll have the advantage of an electrically operated tailgate that offers hands-free convenience. Whenever both hands are full of shopping or luggage or the like, simply wave a foot under the rear tailgate to open the boot.
GTX Style The top-tier GTX grade enhances the vehicle’s already sporty sensibilities, adding 20-inch alloy wheels that boast an exclusive GTX design, for instance. Other distinctive features include a black-coloured roof that provides a smart contrast to your paint finish of choice.
