Performance
Bold, refined, and engineered for modern driving.
The 2026 Volkswagen T-Roc is the all-new generation of Volkswagen’s popular compact SUV. It combines confident design, updated technology, and efficient powertrains to deliver a versatile package for everyday driving.
From launch in the UK, the T-Roc is available with 48-volt mild-hybrid petrol engines. These use a 1.5 litre eTSI petrol engine with either 116 PS or 150 PS, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive.
The new T-Roc is longer and more spacious than before, with a larger boot and improved rear legroom compared with the previous model.
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned with a digital instrument display and a large infotainment touchscreen, along with updated controls and improved materials for a more modern feel.
Trim levels at launch include Life, Style, and R-Line, each offering a range of features and equipment.
The 2026 T-Roc starts from around £31,620 in the UK market, positioning it between the smaller T-Cross and larger Tiguan.
Later in 2026, Volkswagen will introduce new full-hybrid (self-charging HEV) powertrains to the range, marking the first time full hybrid systems are offered in a T-Roc.
