Exterior
The Volkswagen Golf has had a total refresh and has enhanced its road presence in the Golf 8. It has a wider profile and intricately designed LED headlights which are available with IQ.LIGHT Matrix Dynamic Light Assist to automatically adjust the brightness on the detection of oncoming traffic. The redesigned front end includes a leaner front grille and a lower profile bumper for the most responsive performance ever.
Interior
Inside, the finest upholstery and adjustable driver’s seat await you and from there you can’t fail to notice all of the driver-centric features that keep you in control of the car, your entertainment and your surroundings. And, for a really impressive finish, the optional ambient lighting package will illuminate both the interior and your drive.
Performance
Sustainable power packaged in revolutionary design, the Golf 8 is the first model from Volkswagen to feature the e-TSI engine with mild-hybrid technology. It uses a lithium-ion battery to help power the electric motor at low speeds, which dramatically improves both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The Golf 8 is also available with a 2.0 TDI diesel or a 1.5 TSI petrol powertrain.
Safety
Some of the most advanced driver and safety systems are on board the Golf 8. Features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Park Assist technology which will measure whether you can fit into a space and will essentially park the car for you. Plus Travel Assist which is designed to make driving in traffic less onerous by keeping you in your lane and automating acceleration and braking.
The safety features of the new Volkswagen Golf 8 will also give you total peace of mind. As well as standard features like front and curtain airbags, We Connect technology will provide you with breakdown assistance, an online anti-theft alarm and scheduled service reminders. Volkswagen’s Car2X technology also communicates wirelessly with other enabled cars on the road to give you the most up-to-date traffic information.
Technology
